This policy explains how Tool treats your information. Keeping your images off our servers is a product design choice, not marketing copy.
1. Where image processing happens
All image processing (compress, resize, convert, crop, watermark, rotate, images-to-PDF, and HEIC to JPG) runs in your browser. Image bytes are never uploaded to our servers. Even when HEIC conversion runs on the main thread, it still happens on your device and never leaves the browser.
2. We do not store, view, or transmit your images
We do not save files you drop into the tools, and we do not view, analyze, or send image contents to third parties. After you close the tab or refresh, results exist only in your device memory or download folder.
3. No database and no accounts
This site does not use a database and has no sign-in or user system, so we do not store account profiles, processing history, or file metadata on a server.
4. Analytics (Google Analytics)
If Google Analytics is enabled, we may collect anonymous usage stats such as page views, tool-page visits, rough geography, and device type. These stats do not include your image contents and are not used to tie a person to a specific photo.
5. Cookies
We may use necessary cookies to remember language preference (for example NEXT_LOCALE), and per-tool option preferences such as compress target size, resize mode, convert quality, and watermark text (cookie names like tool_compress_prefs / tool_resize_prefs, up to 30 days; changing options refreshes the expiry. Crop remembers aspect ratio only, not the pixel selection). The site uses a single night appearance and does not store a theme cookie. If Analytics is enabled, Google may also set analytics cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; blocking them may require choosing a language and options on each visit.
